SHINEE AUTOGRAPH SESSION 827

ok

DSC01536

Managed to ninja our way into the queue and got our cds autographed on 31st Jan.

We met up at Elyssa's house (in Choa Chu Kang) on 30th Jan, around 9pm to sleepover. Met Sulin in town before that though. So we were uber fangirls ...... discussing what to say to the boys if we managed to see them. Debated on what time we should go to Lot 1, since Shermaine's friend informed her that there were already 200+ people at 10pm that day. We decided to wake up at 2.45am and leave at 4am, after putting on makeup and dressing up.

When we reached there, whoaaa - so many people already there, sitting in a quite orderly fashion outside the mall. We headed to Macs to get food and coincidentally I met my primary school friend... and she had a number written on her hand and we were like 'O M G what is that?' Unofficial queue number given by some fan (Ha that fan's number was #15..... She was like, the first few allowed to queue for the purchase of CD ok.) So we dashed out, tried to find the girl and get numbers. Blablabla anyway the number thing didn't really work, so imma not mention more about it. But we really did loads of ninja stuff to get the numbers la ha ha.

Ok so I went to Cheers to get soyabean (ha ha not full from breakfast) then the Cheers auntie told me about the open door at the back of Lot 1. Sulin and I also spotted people entering from there so we went to take a look. OK ENTRANCE TO LOT 1!!!! Run run run, reached the fifth floor and we were among the 15 people queuing right outside the roof garden? [At this point a freaking cockroach ran under my thigh, and I didn't know what it was ughhhhhh FML] Any way we got chased away around 6am la so this wasn't a success.

We left, but obviously didn't leave Lot 1. We went to the 3rd floor to hide. And afterwards we also went to the toilet to hide. OK this one is BEST. We hid in the toilet for one hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wtf. Each of us took a cubicle and just remained motionless for one hour in case someone came into the toilet. Communicated via sms. Look look! Celine's cubicle. Ha ha. I was sitting in the cubicle next to her, on the ledge above the toilet bowl, where you can see her bag is now.

Yeah so at 8.10am, when we assumed the mall was open already, we ventured out. Met a malay fan who drove in. BUT we were chased out by some staff at 8.15am. Mad disappointed and pissed off because at that time like ten million people were queueing outside the mall already.

So we just joined the mob in front of the mall and uh the people in front of us broke open the glass doors of the mall and we rushed in. Madness ha ha. Ran all the way up ok, five levels. I must admit I was mad mean, I kept telling the people in front of me to run faster hahahahahahahaha. and I don't even know them ok. So we were at level 4 when we met Sulin's friend, Yili. She was at the front, so we could cut. Then people started just crowding around the escalator instead of queueing up so mob 2 happens. Organiser announced that queue would be downstairs, outside the mall instead. We went down, but it wasn't there, so we went up again. Saw some people from RG like Brenda chewlin wanjiun, Sam emily, Shing yuhua ben. Then the organiser said again, it is really downstairs. We didn't really believe la. So celine & sherms went down to check out the status first. Celine called us to go down, so we did. This time, THE QUEUE WAS REAL

ok so apparently, they had new queue numbers (and we were all like, wtf?) and were lined up according to their numbers already. So we just insisted that we had numbers and sat in the group where our old numbers were. They placed barricades all over and started allowing people in rows of 5 to enter the mall from a ulu stairway. We were sitting at almost the end of the queue, so we were kinda worried we couldn't get it. At like, 10 steps away from The Stairway, an alarm suddenly rung from the loudspeaker and we were all crestfallen. Like omg are you serious, 10 steps away and you're going to cut off the line???????? But fortunately for us, it was a false alarm. The police just wanted us to get into a orderly queue. SO .......... We got into the stairway finally and our queue numbers were 827, 828 and 857, 858, 859. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

That feeling of happiness is hard to gain!!! We were like breaking out into the chorus of Ring Ding Dong, squealing and just being really thankful to the Lord la. 827!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im gonna meet Jonghyun oppa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok mad sweaty photo, but really super happy at that point ~

So we bought our album + poster + autograph pass for $60..... I scratched my autograph pass and i got 'Onew'. Omg looked around for people to trade with, and yay got 'Jonghyun' in the end. Major satisfied. Everyone got who they wanted too! Celine, Sherms & Sulin all got Taemin while Elyssa got her Key. So we sat down and slept for one hour, before SHINee appeared.

The crowd went wild, OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG ITS SHINEE IN REAL LIFE OMG OMG

MAJOR SCREAMING SQUEALING FAINTING OMG.

So SHINee appeared and started off the session by answering some questions by the DJ. What kind of girls do they find beautiful, what they like of SG etc. Then the actual queueing for their autographs started!

Each member had their own queue so yeah, I queued in the Jonghyun queue. Before I went up to Jonghyun, was really close to Key, so I snapped a polaroid of him hehehe. The security came up to me and scolded me :( I was a bit apprehensive, cos he looked like he was gonna confiscate the film. (He didn't) OK KEY IS DAMN CUTE. He greeted the fan who was in his line with a 'Hi' + Hand up thingie!!! Hahahahah mad cute. Then the fan reached out her hand for a handshake but Key very smoothly declined by putting down his Hand up wave thingie to start signing on her CD lol lol MAD CUTE I LOVE KEY

OK SO THEN IT WAS MY TURN FOR JONGHYUN'S AUTOGRAPH

I passed him my CD and I said to him "Jonghyun oppaaaaaaa.... mo shit soyo!" (Means he's damn handsome, cool and all other praising adjectives la hahahahah) He looked at me with his puppy eyes and smiled and said thank you. /FAINTS

Ok so I took one last glimpse of Key, then Jonghyun then slowly walked down the aisle, looking at the other members! Key, so cute in real life. Omg Jonghyun, hm cute la but needs new hairstyle seriously!! Minho, needs new hairstyle & imho, looks better on screen. Taemin OMG OMG OMG major hotness! And his outfit was so fashionable too! His facial features are like mad pro .............. everything perfect. Onew looks SO MUCH BETTER IN REAL LIFE. OMG His ranking in SHINee shot up after I saw him. His face is so chiselled, and he had this spiky hairstyle which I think suits him very well!!!! Mad hot too. (Kinda regretted giving up my onew pass D:)

Yeah slowly walked down the stairs....... in a daze. Didn't really register that I saw SHINee till night, before I slept. I played some SHINee songs to sleep and was suddenly overwhelmed with emotions like, omg I saw SHINee today. In real life.

To me, SHINee is like, my first puppy KPOP love. I liked them before DBSK, and actually THEY were the ones who introduced me to DBSK. Watched http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pdh96qC8gGo this video of SHINee and it changed my life la. Ha ha

K SHINee hwaiting!

HAPPY MONDAY

DSC01401 DSC01414

HAPPY MONDAY. If not for the Sakae buffet deal, I wouldn't have realised how long has it been since I really looked forward to a monday. I guess monday blues are true and blue. So 18 Jan 2010 was spent quiteeee happily. We had a picnic during recess. PB&Kaya sandwiches, mini ham sandwiches, grapes, straberries, crackers, cheese, egg, bread etc etc. We counted down to end of school and then SAKAE. Omg you have no idea how painful it was waiting. So we headed down to the Wheelock branch and sat there from 3.30pm-6pm. Mad pro eating skills  I was craving for tamago so badly before I went so ..... "5 plates of tamago please!" Zerline: "+1" "Oh 6 plates of tamago please!" "Uh please be reminded... any food wastage will be charged accordingly"

I think we pissed off the Sakae staff and wasted a lot of their printing paper because we kept ordering through the online e-menu. But yeah they were laughing at how much we could eat / why we never want to leave. Ha ha

A year of restful increase

Here's a real-life testimonial I heard in DARE yesterday:

A young boy failed his O levels badly, only having 2 passes. (To get into a private course, you have to have at least 3 passes) He blamed it on his parents' divorce, directing the fault of his failures to be the result of the failure of his parents' marriage. He ran away from home countless times and did many bad things. After a few years, he went into NS, and came out of NS knowing that he had to do something with his life. (It is also at this point of time he started listening to Pastor Prince) He told his mother he wanted to study again, and his mother gave him all the help she could give, in terms of money, support and love. All the colleges in Singapore rejected him, saying that he was beyond redemption. But his mother never gave up. She prayed for him everyday, praying for that one chance. She even used her savings to fly him to America to seek opportunities there. However, it was futile. All the colleges there rejected him. The boy, now almost a man, prayed to God. He prayed that He will make a way. After a long time, seeing that his trip was futile, he returned to Singapore.

One day, an American called the boy at an unearthly hour. He offered him a place in a community college (which means JC, when actually the boy is supposed to be studying at uni- level). The boy leaped at this chance, even though it meant starting from scratch.

He flew to USA and begun his new life there. He was worried about coping, and thus prayed to God, listened to the word and most importantly, casted his worries onto Him. Who knew, in the first term, he scored a 3.9 GPA (!!!!!) and was the top in his class. The kind American then told him this: If you are able to score at least a 3.9 GPA in the second term, I'll ask the director to transfer you to a university. The boy was scared. What if his 3.9 GPA was a mere fluke? However, the boy trusted in the Lord. He trusted the Lord will provide for whatever he lacked.

When the second term results were released, the boy was elated. He was finally going to Seattle University. He also finished his university course in 3 years, instead of 4, and even graduated with top class honours.

From the bottom 2% in Singapore, he emerged as the top 5% of America.

All this because the Lord is faithful, and always will be. So cast your worries upon the Lord, and trust that he will work as you rest and provide for you in abundance as this is the year of restful increase.
